Reflection

From the program, three courses gave me the opportunity to design, develop, implement, and assess learning experiences, and the classes were ETEC 523, ETEC 551, and ETEC 570. For the first artifact, a WebQuest was created as an interactive learning activity to meet the Common Core Standards and Digital Literacy Standards. This WebQuest enabled students to learn and become more knowledgeable about the different types of learning disabilities. In ETEC 551, I had the opportunity to evaluate online tools that are used to assess student’s learning. In the second artifact, I compared three Learning Management Systems that included Lynda.com, Schoology, and WeVideo. I gave a presentation of my evaluation and discussed with the class which Learning Management System was more beneficial. For the third artifact, I created a virtual tour museum that covered the National Women’s History Museum in ETEC 570. This assignment allowed me to assess student's learning experiences with new technology that is being used in education.
